If you already own a spray tan device, you're not locked into the brand's own refills. scandibrown's spray tan liquids are classic machine-application liquids and work in all common devices – including Tanrevel, our own Spraytan Mini and salon machines like Tan Lite.
Here we cover how to choose your shade, how to fill your device and how to get an even, natural result.
Do scandibrown's liquids work in Tanrevel?
Yes. Spray tan liquid is not a device-specific product – it's a DHA-based liquid that the device atomises into an even mist. The same type of liquid is used in salon machines and home devices, regardless of brand.
Our 150 ml bottles are made precisely for home use in your own device. Fill the device's container with as much as you need, spray as usual and store the rest of the bottle for next time.
The liquid needs no adaptation: you don't have to change any settings, and you apply exactly as with the device's own refills.
More liquid for your money
Refills sold for home devices are often small bottles. Our spray tan liquids come in 150 ml – enough for many full-body applications, bringing the price per application down considerably.
Want to try a shade before buying full size? Several of our shades are available as 20 ml samples – just right for testing in your device.
If you run a salon or use a lot of liquid, the same shades are available in 1000 ml.
Choose the right shade
The Original series has a warm, balanced undertone and comes in four depths: Light (8% DHA) for a subtle tone, Medium and Dark (10% DHA) for a classic sun-kissed result, and Extra Dark (10% DHA) for a really deep colour.
The Neutral series has a slightly cooler undertone for a more naturally tanned look – choose Neutral Soft for a buildable tone or Neutral Rich for deep, Mediterranean-inspired colour.
Not sure? Start with Original Medium or Neutral Soft – both are forgiving and buildable.
Does it affect my device or its warranty?
Spray tan liquid is a standardised product type, and our liquids are used the same way as the device's own refills. What clogs nozzles is dried-in liquid – not which brand the liquid is.
So clean your device according to the manufacturer's instructions after each use, especially the nozzle and container.
If you're unsure what your device's warranty terms say about liquids from other brands, check the terms with the manufacturer.
How to do it – step by step
- 1Prep your skin: exfoliate and make sure your skin is dry and free from lotion and deodorant.
- 2Shake the bottle and fill the device's container according to the device's instructions.
- 3Spray in thin, even layers with sweeping motions – build two thin layers rather than one thick one.
- 4Let the colour develop for the shade's development time before showering.
- 5Clean the container and nozzle right after use to keep the device like new.
