Choose the right format
Tinted Self Tan Mousse has a temporary bronzer that shows where you have applied it. Clear Mousse has no guide colour. Both develop colour after application; visible bronzer is not the finished tan.
Mousse with guide colour
Self-tanning mousse with a visible guide colour for application with a tanning mitt.
Prepare and moisturise the skin the day before. Apply a little moisturiser to dry areas, then spread the mousse with a mitt in gentle circular movements. Use less on hands, elbows, knees and feet. Let the skin dry before dressing; bronzer may transfer to light fabrics.
Before the first shower, allow 1–3 hours for light colour, 4–5 for medium or 6–8 for deeper colour. Keep the skin dry, then rinse with water without soap. Colour continues developing for up to 24 hours. Moisturise daily.
Patch test before first use. Contains no sunscreen. Avoid eye contact and rinse thoroughly if contact occurs. Stop use if irritation develops. Store cool and dark below 20°C and use within six months of opening.
Clear mousse without bronzer
Transparent self-tanning mousse without bronzer, applied with a tanning mitt.
Prepare the skin the day before and moisturise dry areas. Work systematically with a mitt because the clear formula has no visible guide colour. Let the skin dry completely before dressing and avoid water until the first shower.
Allow 1–4 hours for a light glow, 5–8 for medium or 8 hours or overnight for deeper colour. At the first shower, rinse with water without soap. Colour develops for up to 24 hours. Moisturise daily.

Face mist has its own instructions
Do not mix mousse with face cream as if it were tanning drops. Our mousse instructions do not include that step. Compare Gradual Self Tan Mist if you want a product with specific directions for the face, neck and décolletage.
Spray evenly over clean, dry skin on the face, neck and décolletage from about an arm’s length away. Let it dry completely. Colour develops gradually over 24 hours; wait 24 hours before reapplying for more intensity.
